Our newel bases are simple to install using a strong wood adhesive. They provide a secure connection between your staircase structure and the newel post. Please note that newel posts such as square posts and chamfered posts do not require a separate newel base, as they are supplied as complete posts designed to fit directly onto the string or joist.
