The unique square-turned design of the Provincial Spindle brings a more modern and contemporary feel as opposed to the simplistic  Blank Spindle or the lightly adapted Chamfered Spindle. It also gives you the best of both worlds by having a curved and squared aesthetic.

These spindles often pair well with their designated Newel caps, the  Provincial Newel Cap!  or even their Newel equivalents in the Provincial Newel Turn! You should use the 900mm spindles on closed-string staircases or landing areas.  The 1100mm spindles are for usage on cut-string staircases where there would be one 900mm spindle and one 1100mm spindle per tread. The longer length spindles can also come in handy for commercial landing areas to comply with building regulations.
